Tiger Woods (born December 30, 1975) is an American professional golfer who is among the most successful golfers of all time. He has been one of the highest-paid athletes in the world for several years. Woods is widely regarded as one of the greatest golfers in history and his accomplishments have led to him being inducted into both the World Golf Hall of Fame and PGA Tour Hall of Fame.

Woods was born in Cypress, California, to Earl and Kultida Woods and raised there by his mother after his parents divorced when he was two years old.
