Players are back on the course and Brooks Koepka has a four-stroke lead over Jon Rahm. That’s because it was raining really bad on Friday and Saturday, so the tournament was paused each day. Now, everything needs to get done in one day! Tiger Woods won’t be taking part in this long and hard day as he tweeted that he has hurt his foot again. The players will have their groupings sorted out and they’ll start playing at 12:30 pm from the first and the tenth tee. This should be enough to finish before sundown. It’s been 40 years since the last time the Masters ended on a Monday! The fitness of Koepka could be an important factor because he will have to play 30 holes on Sunday, 12 of which are for the third round. Unfortunately, this means five-time champion Tiger Woods has had to withdraw from the Masters due to injury at 7:45 a.m. Woods was in last place out of all the golfers who could still play at the tournament when things stopped on Saturday. He got hurt in a car accident earlier this year and he was clearly struggling as he walked around the course at Augusta National during part of this week. Even with all that, he made it to the tournament for 23 years straight – setting a record. When Tiger Woods started to play the third round of his tournament on Saturday, he experienced a hard time and was 6 over through seven holes when they had to pause the game due to bad weather. He didn’t come back to finish it off on Sunday. This is the first time ever that Woods has not completed all 72 holes when playing at Augusta National as a professional. Last year, he gave up before playing the last round of the PGA Championship because of cold and wet conditions in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Brooks Koepka is in first place with a score of 13 as his third round resumes at 8:30am. He still has 12 holes left to play from the full 18-hole course.
