March Madness NCAA Tournament is an annual college basketball tournament held each spring in the United States. It was created in 1939 by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) to determine a national champion for men’s Division I college basketball teams. The tournament involves 68 teams from across the country and is divided into four regions: East, West, Midwest, and South. Each region has 16 seeded teams which are ranked according to their regular-season records; these seeds are then pitted against each other in single elimination matchups throughout March until only one team remains standing at the end of April as the overall victor.
