German culture has been strongly shaped historically through Christianity with Protestantism being predominant among Germans today. The Federal Republic of Germany was founded in 1949 after World War II which had left much of Europe devastated including Germany itself. Since then it has become one of Europe’s most prosperous countries introducing laws that emphasized social responsibility along with economic reforms such as implementing market-oriented policies for both industry and agriculture leading them towards achieving new heights economically speaking since reunification in 1990 when West Germany reunited East German states into one unified nation again after 45 years apart from each other following WWII’s end. The ruling party during this time was Christian Democratic Union led Chancellor Helmut Kohl who were responsible for their successful unification policy known commonly as “Ostpolitik” or Eastern Policy which sought out cooperation between former Soviet bloc nations like Russia alongside western ones making up what we now know today as European Union members all having once belonged together under old borders prior wars ever cutting them apart before hand so long ago still remembered fondly even until now here decades later on down road far traveled many times around globe back forth several times yet never forgotten at least not completely fading away forever throughout ages gone past near future too come next generation beyond these shores remain linked closely if only symbolically always despite physical separation may exist elsewhere elsewhen across miles years deep within hearts minds memories strong lasting longer than anything else imaginable will endure unbroken bonds test time without fail regardless days go dark nights grow coldest winter snow turns summer rain fall harden ground but nothing weather stormy waters nor life itself can break ties link two continents connected eternally just way nature intended be done centuries henceforth signifying true power unity peace everlasting love whole world share longing seek find wherever whenever everywhere anyone lucky enough might catch glimpse magical moment divine grace beauty exists there shining brightly brilliantly light darkness evil despair overcome fill void emptiness consume us no more bring hope alive make better tomorrow live our dreams dreams!
