Marjorie Taylor Greene by Joshua Brown May 1, 2023 88 Marjorie Taylor Greene (born May 27, 1974) is an American politician and businesswoman serving as the U.S. Representative for Georgia’s 14th congressional district since 2021. A member of the Republican Party, she was elected in November 2020 to fill a seat vacated by Tom Graves after he resigned from Congress in October 2020 due to health concerns. She has become known for her support of conspiracy theories, including QAnon and other far-right causes such as anti-vaccination activism; she also espouses white nationalist rhetoric and has been criticized heavily by both Republicans and Democrats alike for her controversial statements about Jewish individuals, women’s rights advocates, Black people, immigrants and Muslims among others . Greene attended high school at South Forsyth High School before studying construction management at Tennessee Technological University where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree. In 2007 Greene founded Taylor Commercial Inc., a commercial building company based out of Alpharetta which specializes in retail buildouts across several states throughout the Southeast region of America primarily focusing on large chain stores like Walgreens or Target but occasionally working on smaller independent outlets such as restaurants or boutiques that are local to their area when they need it most . Prior to being elected into office Marjorie had indulged herself greatly into politics through various avenues , while showing great interest in Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign along with actively attending protests against former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi whom ironically enough holds one of now representative Greenes seats within congress having won reelection despite strong opposition from many conservative voters who felt betrayed by her leadership during this past election cycle . Furthermore prior too running for public office Marjorie had set up multiple social media profiles promoting ideas relating to gun rights , anti abortion laws & pro trump initiatives all which were considered unpopular amongst what some may call traditional republican values yet still held true value within certain circles regardless leading them believe even more so that Washington needed someone willing fight back against liberal policies & what once thought unstoppable momentum established early last century regarding progressive ideals associated with political correctness . After winning her primary race unopposed following fellow republicans withdrawing themselves from consideration after hearing reports surrounding alleged racist/anti semitic comments made over time previously attributed towards greene via these same platforms months earlier finally succeeding without fail upon eventually making it onto general ballot come november 3rd earning roughly 70% voter approval despite not receiving any endorsements whatsoever either party wide nor nationally speaking placing her firmly atop podium alongside newly appointed peers reaffirming importance behind grassroots efforts capable creating change even long odds stacked directly against ones favor prove be just victorious nonetheless forming foundations much later success moving forward ever onward setting sights higher than originally assumed possible given current climate control elsewhere ..
