Europe by Joshua Brown May 1, 2023 99 Europe is a continent located entirely in the Northern Hemisphere and mostly in the Eastern Hemisphere. It comprises of about 50 countries, ranging from small islands to large countries such as Russia, France and Germany. The total population of Europe is estimated at 741 million people (as of 2018). The concept of Europe has its roots in ancient Greece; however, it was not until after World War II that the idea gained significance with the formation of modern political entities such as NATO and the European Union (EU). As an economic power house, Europe’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) accounts for almost one-fifth or 20% percent share world wide. In addition to this significant contribution to global economy, Europe also has a rich cultural heritage which includes some iconic masterpieces like Stonehenge monument in England or Eiffel Tower landmark situated on Paris landmarks district. Geographically speaking, most Europeans reside within two major climatic zones: temperate climate zone covering western part including United Kingdom while southern regions are dominated by Mediterranean climate featuring mild temperatures throughout year long season period making them popular tourist destinations during summer months when temperatures reach peak values especially along coasts where warm water streams can be found around Greek Islands area forming so called Cyclades archipelago consisting out nearly 220 separate islands each having their own unique characteristics perfect for sailing enthusiasts looking for unforgettable experiences on waters surrounding these beautiful havens away from mainland hustle bustle life . In terms of politics there have been many changes over past decades due mainly establishment EU structure as well unified body overseeing union affairs between member states allowing easier flow trade goods services across borders without any restrictions regardless if those belong outside state’s boundaries thus creating more opportunities job market level too encouraging entrepreneurship among citizens providing supportive environment forthcoming initiatives start businesses up build strong local economies whose results will help improve overall quality life regionally eventually globally ,too ensure sustainable development future generations come benefit same things we did before passing baton onto our successors who should continue taking care nature just way indigenous cultures had done times immemorial order maintain balance ecosystem planet Earth depends upon all us equally no matter coming different corners globe live together peacefully respect diversity existent shared amongst us ultimately unifying mankind into single entity towards achieving common goals prosperity unity .
