Brooks Koepka

Brooks Koepka (born May 3, 1990) is an American professional golfer on the PGA Tour. He has won four major championships: three U.S. Opens (2017, 2018 and 2019), as well as one PGA Championship in 2018. In August 2020 he became World Number 1 for the first time after winning his fourth major championship; a feat which had only previously been achieved by Tiger Woods and Jack Nicklaus since rankings began in 1986 .

Koepka was born in West Palm Beach, Florida to Bob and Denise Koepka. His father worked at Fuzzy Zoeller’s golf academy while growing up, giving him early exposure to golf instruction from some of the game’s best players. At age 15 Brooks attended IMG Academy where he continued honing his skills under their tutelage before turning pro two years later when he earned conditional status on the European Challenge Tour by finishing third at qualifying school in 2007-2008 season with rounds of 69-68-70=207 (-3).

In 2009 Koepka moved back to America and joined then Nationwide Tour now Korn Ferry tour playing there until 2013 when he finished 13th on money list earning himself full card onto PGA TOUR for 2014 Season where finally started making name for himself beginning with win at Waste Management Phoenix Open that year followed by second place finish at US Open 2015 tying Rory Mcilroy resulting him getting into 2016 Ryder Cup Team representing United States against Europe alongside other big names like Jordan Spieth Dustin Johnson Rickie Fowler etc..
