Former Virginia House Speaker Eileen Filler-Corn recently announced she would not enter the 2025 gubernatorial race. Instead, she plans to run for the northern Virginia congressional seat vacated by Democrat U.S. Rep. Jennifer Wexton in the upcoming year.
