A roller coaster accident at Grona Lund amusement park in Stockholm, Sweden, resulted in the loss of one life and several injuries, as reported by Swedish TV.

According to park officials interviewed by public broadcaster SVT, one of the carriages on the Jetline roller coaster derailed and plunged to the ground.

Park spokeswoman Annika Troselius expressed deep sorrow, stating, “It is incredibly tragic and shocking. Regrettably, we have received confirmation of one fatality and numerous injuries.”

Following the incident, authorities confirmed that seven individuals, including both children and adults, were rushed to hospitals for medical attention.

The immediate response involved the evacuation of the amusement park, allowing rescue teams to carry out their operations.
