In pushing for a summary judgment, the Attorney General’s office cited evidence indicating that Trump had inflated his net worth by as much as 39%, or over $2 billion, in certain years. In an April deposition, Trump answered questions for seven hours at James’ office, a departure from a previous deposition where he invoked his Fifth Amendment rights over 400 times.
