Ben Affleck and Matt Damon Return with Their New Movie ‘Air’

Ben Affleck and Matt Damon were writing their first screenplay together since the movie “Good Will Hunting” that they did in 1997. They realized that something was missing from their long careers, which had been quite separate up until then.

One day, my wife said to me,”I haven’t heard you laugh that much in 15 years!” We thought to ourselves – why don’t we make sure this happens more often? As we age, it’s important to prioritize things like this, or else they simply won’t happen.

Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, two friends who wanted to make it big in Hollywood many years ago, have teamed up again. This time, Ben is directing a movie called “Air” which features Matt in the main role. The film is about Nike’s decision to sign Michael Jordan as their celebrity ambassador, and it will be released in theaters on Wednesday.

This movie is the first one to come from Amazon Studio’s new ‘Artists Equity’ production company. Ben Affleck is in charge of the whole company, and Matt Damon has a special job looking after all the content for the movie. The main goal of this work is to help out those that have important roles during filming by giving them part of any profits made.

Ben Affleck believes that their new company should have the same goal as the movie “Air” which follows Nike’s journey in getting Michael Jordan as an endorser and features Viola Davis as his mother who defends his value.

Ben Affleck and Matt Damon think that the people who are creating great art in films don’t get enough credit or money. It’s like what happened to basketball star Michael Jordan. He got recognized for all his hard work, so they want it to be the same for movie artists. They deserve to be paid and praised for their amazing art!

“Air” is proving to be a real hit! The movie stars famous actors like Jason Bateman, Chris Tucker, Chris Messina, and Julius Tennon – and people who’ve seen it have been loving it. So much so that the streaming company Amazon decided to show it nationwide in theaters everywhere.

Despite the “Sad Ben Affleck” memes and videos of him looking sad at the Grammys, he is actually very happy. He has had both good and bad times in his life, including struggles with alcoholism. Although people may think he is always unhappy, he says that he is “famously unhappy” even though that isn’t how he feels. He attributes this misconception to the cameras recording him all the time, which often catch him at the wrong moments.

Ben Affleck was looking at a picture of himself and saying, “I look unhappy in this photo but I’m actually doing great. I have a good life and I’m lucky, despite the jokes about me being sad-looking all the time. People call it ‘resting b—- face.'” Matt Damon joked about it too.

Recently, Ben had had some rough times appearing as Batman and in the news, but now he’s back to making movies again – like Argo which won him an award some years ago.

Damon (52) and Affleck (50) started up a company in LA called Artists Equity. Doing this allowed them to spend more time together and also allowed Affleck to stay close to his kids from his previous marriage to Jennifer Garner. Last year he even married Jennifer Lopez!

Viola Davis is excited to join Michael Jordan and Ben Affleck’s new project. At first, the part was a very small role, so Jordan made sure to emphasis its importance when speaking with Affleck. He said that Davis was the only actor who could play it.

Davis understands what Affleck and Damon are trying to do. She runs Juvee Productions with her husband Tennon which made last year’s movie ‘The Woman King’. Davis calls working on ‘Air’ one of the best times in her career.

Davis says that they are trying to put filmmaking back in the hands of artists, instead of businessmen. This way, actors can have the freedom and control they want.

Artists Equity are making two upcoming movies – “The Instigators”, a heist movie with Damon and Casey Affleck and “Unstoppable” featuring Lopez and Jharrel Jerome. Lopez has recently shone in “Hustlers”, but Hollywood hasn’t always had the best idea of how to use her acting talents.

Casey Affleck agrees saying that having expectations placed on an actor is restrictive and limits their potential, which was shown clearly in “Hustlers” where Lopez really showed what she can do.

In “Unstoppable”, Affleck plays the role of a mother of a college wrestler who was born with one leg. She’s doing great at her job because she wants to take responsibility for what she does instead of taking whatever is offered to her.

At the time Nike was not as popular as Converse or Adidas, but its executives thought of a way that could put it in competition. They realized that people would start buying their sneakers because they related to one special person wearing them – Michael Jordan. Nowadays, more and more people think of themselves as brands, which means they present themselves to others in a certain way.

Affleck says that it’s hard for him to understand how someone can be a brand. He finds people to be complicated and confusing, which does not match up with brands that are usually simple. Although, he admires Michael’s brand of greatness and excellence – saying it’s one of the best brands to have if you had to choose one.

The Damon-Affleck team are doing really well, although they faced some challenges along the way. People love them because they have a close friendship and dream of making movies together. It’s easy to relate to their bond and think about our own dreams with friends.

When they worked together on “Air,” Ben Affleck and Matt Damon had a new experience: Ben was the director, and Matt supported him. Ben realized this was important for the overall feel of the project.

Ben Affleck says, “Matt has been treating me with care and respect for our whole friendship. It’s why we’re still friends! I know it’s not because of me.”

At this comment, Matt Damon cheekily adds with a smile,”I only talked behind your back!”
