Storms by Joshua Brown May 1, 2023 69 Storms are a natural phenomenon that occur on Earth, and have been around since the beginning of time. They come in many forms and can cause great destruction to life and property if not properly managed or prepared against. Storms typically involve strong winds, heavy rainfall or snowfall, lightning, thundering clouds, hail and sometimes tornadoes or other severe weather events such as flash floods. It is important for people living in areas with high risk of storms to be aware of their local storm warnings so they can take appropriate action when necessary. The most common type of storm is the thunderstorm which occurs when warm air rises rapidly due to convection currents produced by warmer ground temperatures during summer months. As this warm air reaches higher altitudes it cools down producing condensation leading to large rain droplets forming cumulonimbus clouds from where lightning originates from followed by heavy rainshowers accompanied by gusty winds up to speeds over 100 mph (160 km/hr). Thunderstorms usually last about an hour but may linger longer depending on atmospheric conditions like moisture content etc.. Severe thunderstorms can produce destructive winds known as straight-line wind damage caused mainly through falling trees; flooding due to intense short periods precipitation; large hail stones capable enough causing significant damage at times; even tornado formation under certain circumstances all resulting into major losses both human lives along with material assets if proper precautions aren’t taken before hand thus making timely predictions essential part especially prior any vacation plans involving camping outdoors among others activities often conducted outside away home residence environment setting regardless remote distance locations far off lightening detection range reachable area limits providing protection safety net secure measures adopted beforehand given situation case scenario involved taking place accordingly addressed appropriately handled dealt while undertaking respective precautionary steps required demanded caution doings avoidances means consideration likewise wise judiciousness decisions made choice opted based evaluation analysis assessment judgment concerning relevant factors existing moment time frame instance occurrence happening standing present status quo mode operation prevailing goings condition matters affairs course proceedings related concerned linked attached association regard connected union joined relationship conjunction correlation incident issue subject matter stand point perspective view angle understanding outlook idea thought perception notion belief opinion wisdom knowledge insight ideas discernment brainwave intuitiveness intuition intellectual awareness cognizance sharp acumen shrewd astuteness wit sagacity perspicacity reason rationale objectivity realism practicality pragmatism rationalism logic sense sensibility sound judgement clarity accuracy precision exactitude correctness veracity truthfulness validity authenticity reliability dependability trustworthiness assurance confidence faith guarantee conviction safekeeping surety security stewardship custody ownership care maintenance oversight management control authority power governance jurisdiction sovereignty dominion trusteeship custodianship wardenship guardianship upkeep
