Ryan Reynolds

Ryan Reynolds (born October 23, 1976) is a Canadian actor, film producer and entrepreneur. He first rose to prominence in the late 1990s as Michael “Berg” Bergen on the teen sitcom Two Guys and a Girl before going on to star in numerous films including National Lampoon’s Van Wilder (2002), The Proposal (2009), Deadpool (2016) and Detective Pikachu (2019). Outside of acting, he has co-founded several businesses such as Aviation Gin and Mint Mobile.

Reynolds was born in Vancouver British Columbia. His father James Chester Reynolds is a food wholesaler while his mother Tammy operated an antiques store. He attended Kitsilano Secondary School where he showed interest in improvisational theatre but dropped out at age 15 when he decided to pursue acting professionally instead. After appearing in various television shows throughout the early 2000s including Sabrina: The Teenage Witch and Just Friends Reynolds gained fame for his performance on Two Guys And A Girl which ran from 1998–2001; it earned him three nominations for Favorite TV Actor at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards .
