Paul George by Joshua Brown May 1, 2023 63 Paul George (born May 2, 1990) is an American professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Clippers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played high school basketball for Knight High School before playing college basketball at Fresno State. After being selected by the Indiana Pacers with the 10th overall pick in 2010 NBA draft, he quickly emerged as one of their best players and was named an All-Star four times during his seven seasons with them. George made a name for himself in 2013 after suffering a gruesome leg injury while competing on Team USA that summer; however, he recovered well enough to return to action less than one year later. In 2017, after leading Indiana to back-to-back playoff appearances, George was traded to Oklahoma City where he became part of a “Big Three” alongside Russell Westbrook and Carmelo Anthony. The following season saw him earn Third Team All-NBA honors while helping lead OKC deep into postseason play despite not having home court advantage throughout most rounds due to injuries suffered by key teammates late in regular season games. In July 2019, George was then traded from Oklahoma City along with Danilo Gallinari and Shai Gilgeous Alexander ,to be sent over to Los Angeles Clippers . With Kawhi Leonard joining him there shortly afterwards it seemed like all could be set up for championship contention right away as they were able come together as another “Big Two” pairing but were unable make it out of second round playoffs losing against Denver Nuggets 4–3 without being able host any game due Covid 19 regulations put forth midseason last year which resulted banishment off spectators from attending live sporting events around U S A . Despite this Paul still managed lead team averaging 21 points 6 rebounds 5 assists per game across 74 matches played Despite never winning an NBA title thus far in his career or even reaching Finals yet ,Paul’s accolades include: 9xAll Star(2012 – 2020),4xAll defensive First team(2014 – 2018 ),3xall defensive Second team (2019 – 2021 )and 3×Third Team All nba selection awardee.(2018 – 20 ). His efforts have been recognized internationally too when chosen represent US national men’s volleyball squad participating 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics where bronze medalist finish obtained . Also point guard currently holds record highest free throw percentage ever achieved single match among active players since introduction three pointers era shooting 100% 7/7 attempts vs Brooklyn Nets April 2015 marking 12th time such feat accomplished league history till date
