Milwaukee Bucks

The Milwaukee Bucks are an American professional basketball team based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The Bucks compete in the National Basketball Association (NBA) as a member of the Eastern Conference’s Central Division. The franchise was founded in 1968 and is one of only two teams to survive from the original expansion that made up the NBA at its inception.

Led by Hall of Famer Oscar Robertson, who won his first MVP Award with them, they won their only championship title during their 1971–72 season when Lew Alcindor (now known as Kareem Abdul-Jabbar) joined forces with fellow Hall of Famers Bob Dandridge and Bobby Wanzer to form “The Big Three” which led them over Los Angeles Lakers 4-2 games series victory for the league title. After this success went through some difficult times but since 2018 have become more consistent after drafting Giannis Antetokounmpo who has been awarded multiple MVP titles while playing for Bucks including back-to-back awards from 2019–2021 seasons .

In addition to winning championships on court ,the team also contributed off court business wise thanks to current owners Wes Edens and Marc Lasry whose purchase brought stability leading into new stadium construction project completed in 2018 naming it Fiserv Forum being considered one best arena’s around NBA circuit hosting even concerts along side other events like WWE Raw shows etc.. In 2020 despite Covid pandemic restrictions managed reach playoffs making it 6th straight year under head coach Mike Budenholzer however were eliminated by East top seed Brooklyn Nets 4 -1 games series defeat . With future move towards having healthy roster featuring young stars like Jrue Holiday ,Donte DiVincenzo or Pat Connaughton looking forward 2021/22 season could bring positive results for loyal fans all across Wisconsin state .
