Milwaukee Brewers

The Milwaukee Brewers are an American professional baseball team based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The Brewers compete in Major League Baseball (MLB) as a member club of the National League (NL) Central division. The team is named for the city’s association with brewing industry and has played its home games at Miller Park since 2001.

The franchise was established as the Seattle Pilots in 1969 and changed to the name “Brewers” after relocating to Milwaukee that same year. In 1982, they made their first World Series appearance, losing 4–3 to the St Louis Cardinals. They won one pennant during this time period which came against Toronto Blue Jays in 1982 where they lost four games straight but still managed to win it all by taking game six 6-4 due to several clutch hits from players such as Robin Yount and Cecil Cooper who both went on later become Hall of Famers for their play throughout this series alone!
