Deshaun Watson

Deshaun Watson (born September 14, 1995) is an American football quarterback for the Houston Texans of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Clemson and led them to victory in both the 2016 College Football Playoff National Championship Game and 2017 CFP National Championship Game.

Watson was born in Gainesville, Georgia to Deann Watson and Don Richardson. He attended Gainesville High School where he became one of their best quarterbacks ever. During his high school career, he threw for 13,077 yards with 155 passing touchdowns and rushed for 4,057 yards with 50 rushing touchdowns while being named a three-time All-State selection. At Clemson university Deshaun started off strong after redshirting his freshman year due to injury; as soon as 2015 rolled around that’s when things took off! His first start against Louisville resulted in 6 total tds which shocked everyone considering it was only his second collegiate game; As time went on Deshaun continued dominating opponents eventually resulting in him winning back 2 back ACC titles , along with becoming Heisman runner up twice consecutively(2015 , 2016 ) On January 9th 2017 he lead clemson tigers past alabama crimson tide 35–31 making it Clemsons 1st national title since 1981 ; Following this performance deshuans stock skyrocketed having many believe hes capable of succeeding at next level come draft day which leads us into present day . After falling down draft boards multiple times prior due too knee concerns teams were still skeptical but houston texans made decision clear by trading up from 25 spot all way up 12 thus selecting watson 12 overall pick . Since then deshan has gone onto have much success such s setting rookie record passing touchdown mark 21 td passes also earning AFC offensive player month award september 2018 ! Not only does watsom excel on field but also serves community through numerous charity events helping those less fortunate than himself !! Overall you cant help appreciate what young man has achieved going thru so much adversity yet never giving uo!!
