Canada government by Joshua Brown May 1, 2023 59 Canada Government is the federal administration of Canada. It is composed of three branches: legislative, executive and judicial which are all responsible for governing the country. The Canadian Constitution divides powers between the federal government and provincial governments to ensure a balance of power within each system. Legislative Branch – This branch consists of two levels; national and provincial legislatures that create laws in their respective jurisdictions under delegated authority from Parliament (federal) or various Provincial Legislatures (provincial). Laws relating to criminal matters, taxation, social welfare programs, foreign policy, defence services etc are created by this branch at both levels. The Senate sits as an unelected body representing regional interests while the House Of Commons represents citizens directly through elected representatives known as MPs or Members Of Parliament. Executive Branch – Responsible for administering laws passed by parliament/legislature such as setting up departments like Finance Ministry or Health Ministry who will implement policies related to those areas accordingly. They also oversee aspects such as international trade agreements with other nations & managing diplomatic relationships with them on behalf of Canada’s government & people so it can be said they act almost like ‘foreign ambassadors’ acting towards promoting good relations abroad too! Prime Minister heads this division along side Cabinet Ministers chosen from different provinces across the nation whom collectively forms part together called Privy Council Office where decisions about important governmental affairs would usually take place here first before being implemented outwards into public domain later on after due consultation has been done beforehand amongst its members present there during meetings usually held every week regularly instead depending upon urgency/importance involved.. Judicial Branch – Is one made up entirely by judges appointed either federally via Supreme Court Judgeships process presided over PMO office itself OR provincially based ones nominated locally per region respectively whereby any disputes arising between citizen rights vs state obligations could get adjudicated properly according fair justice without fear nor favor shown whatsoever given circumstances faced off against each other during proceedings taking place inside courtrooms located across our legal systems throughout entire country today currently running in smooth order since past centuries ago now followed still till date even recently! 439
