Andrew Lloyd Webber

Andrew Lloyd Webber (born 22 March 1948) is an English composer and impresario of musical theatre. He has composed 13 musicals, a song cycle, a set of variations, two film scores and a Latin Requiem Mass. Several of his songs have been widely recorded and were hits outside the context of his shows including “The Music Of The Night” from Phantom Of The Opera; “Don’t Cry For Me Argentina” from Evita; “Memory” from Cats; All I Ask Of You”, another duet with Sarah Brightman for The Phantom Of The Opera; as well as the title songs for Joseph And His Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Jesus Christ Superstar.

He was knighted in 1992 by Queen Elizabeth II for services to music. In 1994 he was made a life peer being created Baron Lloyd-Webber, of Sydmonton in the County of Hampshire. Lord Lloyd-Webber is also president or chairman at several charities including Foundation Arts Educational Schools London – which provides performing arts training to young people aged 11–19 years old across Greater London – along with Children & the Arts charity organization amongst many others worldwide where proceeds are used towards various philanthropic causes such as children’s cancer research funds etcetera..

In 2019 Andrew had become one Britain’s wealthiest men according Forbes magazine having accumulated over $1 billion dollars through royalties on his works plus investments into real estate holdings around England among other businesses ventures since then .
