2024 United States presidential election by Joshua Brown May 1, 2023 61 The 2024 United States presidential election will be the 60th quadrennial U.S. presidential election, scheduled for Tuesday, November 5, 2024. The incumbent president is barred from seeking reelection due to term limits set by the Twenty-Second Amendment of the United States Constitution; therefore a new president will be elected in this race. Candidates and Campaigns According to current trends and polls conducted amongst political analysts it appears that there are likely to be numerous candidates running for office during this election cycle with speculation as to who they may include ranging from high profile politicians such as Bernie Sanders or Kamala Harris on the Democratic side or Donald Trump Jr., Marco Rubio or Tom Cotton representing Republicans however those names have yet to officially announce their interest in vying for President of The United States so any official announcements would need further investigation before being confirmed publicly . Additionally some third party movements within both major parties could also play an influential role if one should arise before Election Day occurs . Primaries As with all elections prior ,the primaries process would likely begin at least 18 months ahead of time which means we can expect them beginning sometime early 2023 leading up until June when primary season concludes typically following each states respective Primary Day votes where citizens choose their preferred candidate through a series ballot voting system .
