Trump tells Argentina’s President-elect Javier Milei he plans to visit Buenos Aires

Former U.S. President Donald Trump has informed Argentina’s President-elect, Javier Milei, of his intentions to visit Buenos Aires, as confirmed by Milei’s office. However, no specific date for Trump’s visit to the South American country has been provided. The inauguration of Javier Milei, a right-wing populist who has expressed his admiration for Trump, is scheduled for December 10.

In a statement released by Milei’s office, it was mentioned that “The president-elect received a call last night from the former president of the United States, Donald Trump, who congratulated him and pointed out his triumph by a wide margin in last Sunday’s election had a great impact on a global scale.”

According to local journalist Luis Majul, it was Eduardo Bolsonaro, the son of former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro, who played a facilitating role in establishing contact between Milei and the leading contender for the GOP nomination, Donald Trump.
