The Powerball jackpot swelled to a staggering $900 million following Saturday’s draw that produced no jackpot winner.

In Saturday’s draw, not a single ticket matched the winning combination of white balls numbered 2, 9, 43, 55, 57, and the red Powerball 18, despite the enticing estimated jackpot of $875 million.

Those purchasing tickets for Monday’s drawing have a shot at the now $900 million prize, paid in yearly increments, or a pre-tax lump sum of $465.1 million.

This sizable jackpot makes it the third largest in Powerball’s history and ranks seventh overall in the history of U.S. lottery winnings, as stated by Powerball in an early Sunday statement.

Although the grand prize remains unclaimed, Powerball did confirm that three tickets managed to match all five white balls from Saturday’s draw, thereby qualifying for a $1 million prize each. These winning tickets were sold in Texas (two tickets) and Colorado (one ticket).

The colossal jackpot will continue to expand until there’s a lucky winner.

The game, designed with astronomical odds of 1 in 292.2 million, aims to amass substantial prizes that attract more participants. The record for the largest Powerball jackpot is held by a $2.04 billion prize from November.

The Powerball jackpot has not been won since April 19, when the prize sum was just shy of $253 million. This marks 37 consecutive draws without a jackpot winner.

Powerball tickets can be purchased in 45 states across the U.S., along with Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
