Police Release Video of Officer Ending Mass Shooting at Texas Mall, Neutralizing Neo-Nazi Gunman

In a significant development, the police have made public a video footage capturing the heroic actions of an officer who swiftly put an end to a mass shooting at a Dallas-area shopping mall, taking down a neo-Nazi gunman. Continuing through the exterior corridors of the shopping outlet, the officer encounters sustained bursts of gunfire. Approximately four minutes into the video, he opens fire, discharging at least six shots.

Moments later, the officer shouts, “Drop the gun!” before confirming, “I’ve taken him down!”

Another officer subsequently verifies that the gunman has been neutralized.

The video concludes with the two officers standing beside the blurred image of the gunman’s lifeless body.

The release of the video comes after a grand jury cleared the officer of any wrongdoing, asserting that “the use of force was justified under Texas law,” according to an official police statement.

Allen Police Chief Brian Harvey commended the officer in the statement, saying, “This video illustrates how swiftly a routine interaction with the public can escalate into a life-and-death situation. The officer promptly recognized the imminent danger, bravely confronted the gunfire, and eliminated the threat. The Allen community will forever be grateful for his actions.”

The victims of the tragic incident include Kyu Song Cho (37), Cindy Cho (35), and their 3-year-old son, James Cho, all part of a Korean American family. Additionally, Aishwarya Thatikonda (27), sisters Daniela Mendoza (11) and Sofia Mendoza (8), security guard Christian LaCour (20), and Elio Cumana-Rivas (32) lost their lives in the senseless act of violence.

Authorities confirmed that Garcia had legally purchased one of the eight firearms he brought to the mall.

Despite Garcia’s lack of a criminal record, an Army official revealed to The Big Big News that he had previously been discharged from basic training approximately 15 years ago due to mental health concerns. The official spoke anonymously, citing personnel matters.

Online posts left by Garcia unveiled his white supremacist and misogynistic ideologies, depicting his affinity for mass shootings as a form of amusement. He openly displayed his large Nazi tattoos in photos and marked a favorite passage from the “Hunger Games” books with a green highlighter-drawn swastika.

Notably, Garcia, being of Latino descent, shared a cartoon image depicting a young Latino child at a crossroads, with one path labeled “act black” and the other as “become a white supremacist.” He captioned the image by stating, “I think I’ll take my chances with the white supremacist.”
