Israeli forces bombard central Gaza in apparent move to expand ground offensive. Telecoms out again

Israeli forces have expanded their ground offensive in central Gaza, leading to ongoing conflict and disruption of telecom services.

The conflict has been persisting for several months, with Israel’s military vowing to continue until Hamas is crushed.

Despite international pressure for a cease-fire and calls for reducing civilian casualties, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has stated that the fight is far from finished, raising concerns globally.

According to the Gaza Health Ministry, more than 20,900 Palestinians, primarily women and children, have been killed in this devastating military campaign. On a single day, 240 people were reported killed.

Over 85% of Gaza’s 2.3 million people have been displaced from their homes, leading to overcrowded areas with limited access to essential supplies.

Efforts have been made by the U.N. Security Council to expedite aid deliveries to Gaza, but significant changes have yet to be observed.
