Tennessee

Tennessee is a state located in the southeastern region of the United States. It was admitted to the Union as the 16th state on June 1, 1796 and has been nicknamed “The Volunteer State,” due to its involvement in many wars throughout history, particularly during World War I. Tennessee borders eight other states: Kentucky and Virginia to the north; North Carolina and Georgia to the east; Alabama to its south; Arkansas, Missouri and Mississippi are both just across rivers from it. Its capital city is Nashville which also happens to be one of the largest cities in all of America with over 667 thousand inhabitants.

Its landscape consists mostly of low mountains that make up parts of Appalachian Mountain range such as Cumberland Gap or Great Smoky Mountains National Park (the most visited national park in U.S.). Rivers like Tennessee River—which runs through middle part from Knoxville—and French Broad also play an important role by providing water for agriculture along their banks where people grow tobacco crops as well as vegetables like corn or soybeans among others commodities being produced there too! Some notable landmarks within this area include Graceland (Elvis Presley’s estate) located near Memphis, TN-GA borderline while Natchez Trace Parkway offers visitors breathtaking views when driving between two major cities – Franklin/Nashville TN  & Tupelo MS – thanks again another river named “Trace”!

Economically speaking Tennesseans depend heavily upon tourism industry due mainly because they can offer so much cultural diversity here ranging anywhere from great live music events taking place downtowns around any given weekend night at different clubs throughout whole year long plus museums filled with artifacts related either Civil War battles fought here or country western singers who made names themselves after performing multiple times inside some legendary venues found everywhere else but not necessarily only Music City itself anymore… Additionally though manufacturing sector provides several jobs making automotive products namely Nissan vehicles built right outside Smyrna plant since 1983 now days becoming more popular choice among consumers looking affordable alternatives instead traditional gasoline powered cars nowadays too! All these facts combined together clearly demonstrate how versatile economy already established here really helps out locals living off income generated same way every day without fail regardless bad weather conditions might show otherwise once time comes about seasonally speaking overall still remains strong even today despite economic recession happened 2008 nationwide affecting entire nation negatively although later recovered quickly enough maybe because investments done local level paid dividends eventually? So yes indeed Tennessee definitely worth checking out if planning vacation nearby sometime soon!!!
