Stamford

Stamford is a city in Fairfield County, Connecticut. It is the third-largest city in the state, and it functions as an important economic hub for lower Fairfield County – with many corporate headquarters and financial institutions located within its boundaries. Stamford was founded by settlers from England in 1640 on the site of present day Greenwich Village.
