He was previously Director of the Central Intelligence Agency from 2017 to 2018 and a member of the U.S. House of Representatives representing Kansas’s 4th congressional district between 2011-2017. Early life and education Pompeo was born on December 30, 1963 in Orange County, California to Wayne Pompeo and Dorothy Walker Pompeo; his father worked as a businessman while his mother was a homemaker. As he grew up, he attended Los Amigos High School in Fountain Valley where he graduated valedictorian before enrolling at West Point Military Academy for undergraduate studies; subsequently graduating first in class with honors & distinction after four years there – earning him admission into Harvard Law School afterwards; completing joint degrees both Juris Doctorate & Master’s Degree within two years period by 1994 respectively – taking job offers alongside those qualifications at law firm Williams & Connolly LLP based out Washington DC area following graduation
