Mike Judge

Mike Judge (born Michael Craig Judge, October 17th 1962) is an American animator, filmmaker, actor and musician. He is best known for creating the ongoing animated sitcoms Beavis & Butt-Head and King of the Hill as well as co-creating the live action series Silicon Valley. His other works include Office Space, Idiocracy and Extract.

Judge’s interest in animation began at a young age when he was inspired by cartoons such as The Ren & Stimpy Show on Nickelodeon and classic animations like Looney Tunes from Warner Bros.. After attending University of California San Diego where he received a bachelor’s degree in physics, he worked briefly with Fosters Freeze before moving to Dallas Texas to work on Liquid Television – an MTV show which aired his first film ‘Frog Baseball’ featuring two teenage slackers who eventually become Beavis & Butt-Head. This success led him to create their own TV show which ran from 1993 – 1997 gaining cult status among teenagers around America; it even spawned its own spin off movie Beavis and Butthead Do America released in 1996 .

In addition to this Mike has also had notable roles voicing characters such as Hank Hill from King Of The Hill , Principal McVicker from Beavis And Butthead , Bill Dauterive From King Of The Hill again plus various guest parts including hosting Saturday Night Live twice during seasons 18/19 . In 1999 he wrote directed produced(and starred)in Office Space followed shortly after by 2001’s Idiocracy ; 2006 saw extract come out while 2009 brought us ‘The Goode Family ‘ another animated comedy created by judge but cancelled after one season due to low ratings . Most recently 2014 gave way too judges latest creation Silicon valley HBO tv series focusing on start up tech companies based round silicon valley california .. As well being creator writer producer executive producer sometimes director or voice artist mike judge also occasionally performs music under his band name “Mongoloid” playing bass guitar keyboards vocals etc…

Overall Mikes career is one that continues grow with no sign of slowing down anytime soon all thanks too iconic creations spanning multiple genres showing no signs stopping anytime soon …
