Kyle Anderson by Joshua Brown May 1, 2023 83 Kyle Anderson (born September 20, 1993) is an American professional basketball player for the Memphis Grizzlies of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball at UCLA before being selected by the San Antonio Spurs in the first round of 2014 NBA draft. Early life and high school career Anderson was born on September 20, 1993 to Kyle Sr. and LaVonda Anderson in Fairview, New Jersey. He attended Paterson Catholic High School where he led his team to four consecutive Passaic County titles and a 31-1 record during his senior season. During that time he earned All-State honors from both Parade Magazine and USA Today after averaging 25 points per game along with 11 rebounds per contest as a senior at Paterson Catholic earning him Gatorade Player of The Year Award for New Jersey . Following completion of his high school studies, Anderson committed to play collegiate basketball at UCLA over offers from Seton Hall University, St John’s University , Florida State University , Georgetown University among others .
