Justin Roiland

Justin Roiland (born February 21, 1980) is an American actor and comedian known for his work in television as the co-creator of Rick and Morty. He also voices a number of characters on the show including both main protagonists: mad scientist Rick Sanchez and his grandson Morty Smith. As well as being an accomplished voice artist he has written, directed and executive produced many animated series such as Fish Hooks, Gravity Falls, The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack and Community.

Early Life
Roiland was born in Stockton California to parents Mark Roiland (a businessman) & Diane Roiland (an interior designer). Growing up with siblings Barry Jr., Jeffery Sr., Matthew Jr., Steven M. , Andrew P. & Jessica L.. Justin attended Laguna Creek High School before attending Grossmont College where he studied film production but left after three semesters due to lack of money or interest from employers in pursuing this career path at that time . It wasn’t until 2004 when Justin moved to Los Angeles did things start looking up professionally for him thanks largely due to connections made through friend Dan Harmon who would go onto help create ‘Rick And Morty’ four years later alongside him .

Career In 2005 along with long term collaborator Dan Harmon Justin created Channel 101 which went on be nominated for two Emmy awards during its tenure running until 2012 by which point it had become something of cultural phenomenon influencing scores upcoming artists into creating content themselves within their own groups outside mainstream media circles like Youtube etcetera . During this period around 2008 he started voicing a character named Earl Of Lemongrabon Adventure Time which gained a cult following leading him further success when Adult Swim commissioned them together with Harmon again 2014 now iconic cartoon Rick And Morty still ongoing today comprising five seasons so far . Since then various other projects have been worked upon namely 3Below Tales Arcadia 2018 Amazon Prime Video YouTube Premium Series Solar Opposites Hulu 2020 what looks set continue successful streak animation industry moving forward hopefully taking part films live action shows whatever else comes way opportunity arises .
