Jacqueline Gold

Jacqueline Gold (born on 11 June 1959) is an English businesswoman, the chief executive of Ann Summers and Knickerbox. She was placed at number 22 in The Sunday Times Rich List 2020 with a net worth of £370m.

Early life and Education
Gold was born in Leeds to parents David and Pearl Gold. Her father owned a textile manufacturing plant which enabled her family to live comfortably during her childhood years, although she has said that it didn’t give them any real financial security or status as most people believed they were rich when really their lifestyle came from debt. When Jacqueline finished school she studied for a degree in Business Administration at Manchester University before taking up roles working within various retail businesses such as Top Shop, Habitat & BHS where she developed skills in Merchandising & Buying departments prior to joining the family firm Sefton’s Fashion Group run by her brother Ralph who had taken over the reins from their father some years earlier..
