Egypt government

The government of Egypt is the democratic, republican system of government established by the Constitution of 2014. The governing document lays out a framework that outlines executive, legislative and judicial branches.

Executive branch
The president serves as head of state, commander in chief and head of government with powers to appoint cabinet ministers and dissolve parliament. The prime minister is appointed from among members elected to Parliament who hold most seats in the chamber; he or she has authority over ministerial appointments with presidential approval for major ones such as defense or foreign policy. Ministers are responsible for specific functions within their departments but answerable to both President & Prime Minister on matters related to national security & emergency situations (such as terrorism). Additionally there are two deputy prime ministers whose responsibilities may include overseeing economic policies while assisting PM when needed.

Legislative Branch
Egypt’s bicameral legislature consists of an upper house called Shura Council & lower house known as House Representatives which together make laws affecting citizens’ lives through debate & voting processes-they also approve budgets proposed by Cabinet per year before being sent back up chain approval process including Presidential signature into law if passed majority votes between two chambers (otherwise it goes back down cycle further debating/revisions). Both houses have equal representation except where population size dictates differently – i.e., Governorates’ delegates comprising one third total parliamentary membership come from Greater Cairo region thus having larger say than others due its populous nature compared other regions around country respectively . This ensures equitable decision making across nation during times difficult decisions need be made quickly without bias towards any particular area geography wise since all voices heard regardless location geographically speaking!

Judicial Branch
Egypt’s judiciary is independent from other branches according Article 175 constitution: Judges shall not be subject orders either directly indirectly except those issued accordance applicable legislation; they’ll receive salaries determined State budget Law each fiscal year ensure impartiality within court systems throughout country while ensuring justice served fairly impartially every case brought before them no matter political affiliation citizen accused crime charged against him her etcetera…
