Dedrick Devonshay Williams by Joshua Brown May 1, 2023 52 Dedrick Devonshay Williams (born March 6, 1979) is an American criminal from Jacksonville, Florida who was convicted of the murder of rapper XXXTentacion on June 18th 2018. He was sentenced to life in prison for first-degree murder with a firearm and armed robbery with a firearm. Early Life Robert Allen, Dedrick’s father worked as an electrician while his mother drove trucks. Williams’ grew up in poverty and had difficulty reading due to dyslexia which caused him problems throughout school. As a teenager he began selling drugs to make money and soon became involved in gang activity resulting in multiple arrests including one for possession of marijuana when he was 17 years old; however most charges were dismissed or dropped by prosecutors because they lacked evidence connecting him to any crime committed. In 2014 he served four months’ jail time after pleading no contest to perjury during jury selection related case where police searched home without warrant but that charge too got eventually dropped out later on by judge citing lack sufficient evidence against defendant Arrest & Trial On July 10 2018, two weeks after killing , Dedrick Devonshay Williams along with three other suspects were arrested following reports linking them all together .
