Boise State Broncos men's basketball

The Boise State Broncos men’s basketball team, located in Boise, Idaho, is the NCAA Division I college basketball program of Boise State University. The school competes in the Mountain West Conference (MWC), and as of 2020-21 season plays its home games at ExtraMile Arena on campus.

History
Kermit Davis Jr., current head coach since 2015–16 season, has guided the Broncos to three postseason appearances during his tenure: two NITs (2018 and 2019) and one NCAA Tournament berth in 2020—the first for a Bronco squad since 1994. He was named MWC Coach of the Year twice with BSU; once while he coached Middle Tennessee from 2001–02 through 2014–15 seasons; making him an overall four time winner of that honor across both schools. In 2017–18 season under Davis’ guidance BSU won 24 games – including 11 conference wins – tying for third place finish with Fresno St.; also earning them their first outright regular-season title after joining MWC prior to 2011/12 campaign. During this same run they became only second Division I school ever to win 20+ consecutive home court games against conference competition over multiple seasons – streak began 17 November 2016 vs San José St., ended 6 March 2018 vs Air Force Academy – when it reached 32 straight victories before ending with defeat in MW Quarterfinals game . They have played host to several notable players over years such as Coby Karl & Chris Childs who went on NBA careers plus Tanoka Beard who would become WNBA player & then later inducted into Women’s Basketball Hall Fame..
