Ben Foster by Joshua Brown May 1, 2023 59 Ben Foster (born October 29, 1980) is an American actor. He made his film debut in the 1994 comedy Little Giants and has since appeared in films such as Liberty Heights (1999), Get Over It (2001), The Punisher (2004), X-Men: The Last Stand (2006), Alpha Dog (2007), 30 Days of Night(2007), Pandorum(2009) , Contraband(2012). His most notable performances have been playing Lance Armstrong in the biopic The Program and a psychologically troubled soldier returning from Iraq to his family independently directed movie Leave No Trace which earned him Independent Spirit Award for Best Male Lead nomination. Foster was born Benjamin A. Foster at Boston’s Brigham & Women’s Hospital on October 29, 1980. Raised mostly in Fairfield, Iowa by parents Steven Fosters who worked as restaurateurs and Gloria Colson an artist he had two brothers Jonathon and Scott both actors themselves with whom he co-starred In 3 Ninjas Kick Back alongside fellow child star Dermot Mulroney .He attended Carnegie Mellon University where he studied acting but dropped out after three months to pursue professional opportunities when offered roles on television shows like Freaks And Geeks or Sisterhood Of traveling Pants .
