Automotive accidents are the leading cause of death and injury among people aged 16-19 in many countries. Automobile collisions, also known as car crashes or automobile accidents, occur when two vehicles come into contact with each other resulting in property damage, personal injuries and sometimes death. The most common causes of automotive accidents include human error (such as speeding or drunk driving), mechanical failures (such as tire blowouts) and environmental factors such as weather conditions or poor road conditions.

In the United States alone there were over 6 million reported car crashes in 2018 which resulted in approximately 36,000 fatalities and more than 2 million serious injuries according to data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). In addition to these direct costs associated with automotive accident fatalities and injuries, economic losses due to lost productivity can exceed $200 billion per year for just motor vehicle crash deaths alone making it one of society’s biggest public safety challenges despite significant technological advancements made by automakers over the years designed to make cars safer on our roads today.

There are typically four stages that lead up a potential crash: recognition/awareness; decision; execution; evaluation/feedback. Recognition/Awareness is where drivers must recognize potential hazards both visually through their surroundings along with using senses like hearing if they hear an approaching siren etc., Decision is when drivers decide what action should be taken based on their observations during recognition/awareness stage – this could be something like changing lanes after seeing an ambulance coming up behind them Execution involves actually carrying out whatever decision was made during the previous step while Evaluation/Feedback includes assessing whether your actions avoided any danger you may have been presented with before repeating any further steps back at “Recognition” again if need be

The best way for individuals reduce risk for themselves but also others around them is simply being aware of their environment at all times while operating a vehicle coupled alongside following all applicable laws related traffic regulations within respective jurisdictions thereby reducing chances becoming involved some type potentially dangerous situation involving automobiles .
