Located in central Texas on the Colorado River, Austin is known for its eclectic live music scene centered around country, blues and rock n’ roll. The city also boasts an array of outdoor activities such as swimming at Barton Springs Pool or kayaking on Lady Bird Lake; many parks throughout town offer open green spaces to relax and enjoy nature.
