The iconic rock band, the Rolling Stones, marked the launch of their first original album in nearly two decades with an intimate concert in Manhattan this past Thursday.

The performance, held at Racket NYC, was attended by a high-profile crowd of invitees that included Christie Brinkley, Elvis Costello, and Trevor Noah. The band showcased seven songs, of which four were from their latest album, “Hackney Diamonds.”

After an opening DJ set by Questlove, Jagger energetically navigated a stage considerably smaller than those he is accustomed to, displaying agility belying his 80 years. Keith Richards then initiated the first chords of “Jumpin’ Jack Flash,” a song that has been covered by countless bar bands since its debut 55 years ago—except this time, the Rolling Stones themselves were the bar band in question.

Making a special guest appearance was Lady Gaga, donned in a sequined maroon pantsuit, who performed her duet with Jagger from the new album, titled “Sweet Sounds of Heaven.” She ended her appearance by warmly exchanging farewells with both Jagger and Richards.
