Andrew Wiggins, a player for the Golden State Warriors is all set to play in their playoffs game against the Sacramento Kings. This will be his first time playing in more than two months. His coach Steve Kerr gave no details on how he’s planning to use him. The reason why Andrew Wiggins has been absent during the last 25 games of the regular season was because of a family matter.

Wiggins is back and has been part of the team’s practice for more than a week. He’ll join them on court once again for the first time since February 13th.

The Warriors are glad to have had Wiggins’ support during his break and are becoming more excited to have him as an important player in their postseason games.

Last season, exactly when Golden State was making its run towards the championship, Wiggins played a huge role – he scored 16.5 points and 7.5 rebounds per game in the playoffs and made sure that the team kept their defense tight.

He signed a contract in October to be part of the Warriors team, but he only played 37 games throughout the year. He was sick for three games and hurt his right thigh for ten more. After that, he had to miss seven games with another sickness not related to COVID-19, and then the last 25 games were due to a family matter. Despite all this, he still managed an average of 17.1 points, 5 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game in the regular season.

The Kings’ coach, Mike Brown, said he doesn’t expect the player to be rusty when they go into the game. He expects them to come ready to play and perform as well as they have been this season.
