Unbelievable Journey: 2 Cuban Migrants Travel to Florida on a Motorized Hang Glider

Two people from Cuba used an engine-powered hang glider to fly around 90 miles (145 kilometers) to reach Key West in Florida on Saturday. They safely landed at the airport there and then were taken by the U.S. Border Patrol. The Border Patrol did not answer any questions about this when called.

Due to too many Cubans and other people coming to Mexico’s and Florida’s borders by boats, the Biden administration created a new rule in January. This rules says that they have to get an online permit (also called ‘parole’) from an acquaintance or relative living in the U.S. before they can come into the country – otherwise they risk being sent back.
