PoliticsEntertainmentTucker Carlson Tucker Carlson Silently Joins Twitter – What this Means for Fox News by Joshua Brown April 27, 2023 written by Joshua Brown April 27, 2023 0 comments Bookmark 73 Tucker Carlson became back on our screens Wednesday, two days after Fox News let him go. He posted a two-minute video to Twitter at 8PM, the time his show used to come on. In this video, he talked about how there isn’t enough honest debate in the media today. When stepping away from everything going on for a few days, Tucker said that he realized how nice some people can be and how funny others are too. The person said that watching debates on TV, most of which are useless, can help you understand how pointless they are when taking a break from work. Fox News recently fired one of their most popular personalities without sharing the reason behind it; it happened right after they got done with a lawsuit about lies told during the 2020 US presidential election. Fox Corp. leadership, Rupert Murdoch and his son Lachlan, suddenly dismissed Carlson without explanation. But Wednesday, some media reports revealed documents created during a lawsuit with Dominion Voting Systems that showed Carlson had sent “highly offensive and crude messages”, which The New York Times stated was the reason behind Fox’s sudden decision to let him go. The Wall Street Journal and The Washington Post both said that a message was sent with a mean comment about a high-ranking Fox executive. Nobody knows who the sources of this information were. Some evidence revealed to the public showed some rude comments by Carlson, which included using bad language when talking about Sidney Powell — someone supporting Donald Trump’s ideas about bogus elections fraud claims on Fox and other places. Fox News didn’t say anything about the reports or Tucker Carlson returning to air. They only said they were grateful for his work in a statement released on Monday. Carlson put on a suit and tie for his Twitter message. Even though he didn’t mention Fox, it was similar to the speeches he gave on that network for 6 years about how “the people in charge” are ruining our country. He believes corporate media and political parties don’t let us talk openly about important issues like war, rights, new technology, how our population is changing, and big businesses’ influence. He asked, “Is there still somewhere we can find people who tell the truth? Yeah — not everywhere but enough. As long as we can hear what they say, there is still hope. See you soon.” You Might Be Interested In The Tragic Death of a Skynyrd Member: Marking the End of an Era for Southern Rock Ilhan Omar: Breaking Away from Firsts and His New Path Ahead Nebraska Legislature as reality TV, featuring filibuster and culture war drama What’s streaming now: Nicki Minaj’s birthday album, Julia Roberts is in trouble and Monk returns Will Black Californians Get their Deserved State Reparations or is it Another Broken Promise?
