An accident happened on the world’s 10th highest mountain, Mount Annapurna. An Irish climber died and an Indian climber went missing after falling into a big crack in the mountain. Another Indian got sick trying to climb down from the top, but luckily survived despite spending a night in harsh conditions up there.

Irish climber Noel Hanna, aged 56, sadly died while descending from the summit of a mountain on Monday. The cause of his death is still unknown. His body was transferred to Kathmandu city afterwards.

On the same mountain, an Indian climber named Anurag Maloo also got lost in a hole and a search for him is ongoing.

Baljeet Kaur, an Indian, climbed to the top of a mountain on Monday. But she got too tired and fell sick on her way down because she did not use any special oxygen tanks. Pasang Sherpa from Pioneer Adventure planned a rescue mission for her and provided help when needed. She spent the night there until she contacted them again and was rescued by a helicopter.

She was taken to a hospital in Kathmandu and had help from a nurse while walking into the hospital building. The springtime is now upon us in Nepal, which means many people are climbing some of the country’s highest mountains.

Three Sherpa guides haven’t been seen since last week when they fell down a deep hole in the side of Mount Everest. The hole is around 50 meters (160 feet) down, which is above the base camp on the tallest mountain in the world.
