Six individuals have lost their lives due to Russian military actions in Ukraine within the last day, according to statements from local authorities on Sunday.

In the Kherson region, two fatalities and three injuries were recorded after the area experienced a barrage of over 100 artillery shells during the weekend, as disclosed by the regional governor, Oleksandr Prokudin, via social media platforms.

Subsequently, two precision-guided munitions struck vital installations in the city of Kherson, resulting in a limited power outage and an interruption in the local water supply. This information was conveyed by Roman Mrochko, the head of the city’s military administration.

Additional reports from local authorities indicated that two more lives were lost in the Donetsk region. Furthermore, a man aged 57 and a woman aged 54 were killed when an aerial bombardment obliterated their residence in the Kharkiv district.

Concurrently, the Ministry of Defense of Russia stated on Sunday that Ukraine had initiated an overnight drone assault on western Russian territories. Authorities confirmed that 18 unmanned aerial vehicles were intercepted and destroyed over the Kursk region. Photographic evidence circulating on social media platforms depicted incendiary wreckage located approximately 1.5 kilometers (around one mile) from the aforementioned airbase, which had previously been subject to attacks from Ukrainian military forces at the close of September.
