At a theater in Manchester, England a performance of “The Bodyguard” musical got cut short when two fans couldn’t help but join in as the lead vocalist sang Whitney Houston’s famous song “I Will Always Love You”. The audience members were then asked to leave after they started singing.

The ushers held signs asking people not to sing and the show announcers said that people could join in at the end. During the last song someone yelled, “Does this mean we can start singing now?” A loud voice came from the balcony trying to sing along with The Pussycat Dolls’ Melody Thornton.

Karl Bradley said people went from laughing to feeling angry and confused. He continued that everyone was screaming, gasping and shouting ‘out’ when the stage suddenly turned black.

When the show was done, the theater security started escorting people out of their seats who weren’t meant to be there and audience members applauded. Unfortunately, due to some people who wouldn’t stay in their spots, the show got canceled. Thornton put out a video on Instagram thanking everyone for being polite, and apologizing for those who weren’t.

Greater Manchester Police had a talk with the two people who were taken out by security guards, and then they will examine evidence before making any decision.
