NFLCam RobinsonFootballJacksonville JaguarsSports Jacksonville Jaguars Left Tackle Robinson Confirmed Facing Suspension for PEDs by Joshua Brown April 27, 2023 written by Joshua Brown April 27, 2023 0 comments Bookmark 67 Jacksonville Jaguars left tackle Cam Robinson might get in trouble with the National Football League (NFL). He might have to sit out for several games because he could have taken something that is not allowed by the NFL, which are called performance-enhancing drugs. To make sure this is true, the NFL will do a test on his ‘B sample’, and then they will decide if he deserves to be suspended or not. Sports Illustrated reported that Jacksonville’s player Robinson might not be able to start the season due to being suspended without pay, which could last up to six games. This affects how Jacksonville prepares for the NFL draft, as they need to fill roles such as offensive tackle, pass rusher, cornerback and tight end. The Jaguars have the 24th overall pick in this year’s draft. Jacksonville said goodbye to Jawaan Taylor, the team’s right tackle, since he left for Kansas City in free agency. Left in their wake are Robinson and Little, a third-year pro, as their starters. Recently they signed Josh Wells too, but he is often injured. Robinson hurt his right knee’s meniscus near the end of December so he couldn’t play the last five games of the season – including two playoffs matches – but Little stepped up in his place and played great! The organization is doing everything it can to help the new young quarterback, Trevor Lawrence. Additionally, this year will likely be Leonard Robinson’s last from the Jacksonville team. He had signed a contract for three years and $52.75 million with $33 million of it being guaranteed. This means that he will be taking up over $22 million against the team’s salary cap for this year and next. Jacksonville hasn’t changed its contracts with the expensive veteran players, which includes Robinson. If Robinson gets suspended, he will miss out on about $900,000 for every game lost. He’s also the highest paid player at Jacksonville’s team. Robinson was chosen in the second round of 2017 NFL Draft and has been seen playing in 75 games from his sixth season with Jacksonville.
