There were no official comments from Israeli authorities regarding the Homs airstrike. However, the military confirmed that one of the Syrian anti-aircraft missiles detonated over Israeli airspace without causing damage. According to Israeli police, remnants from the missile landed in the southern Israeli city of Rahat.

In retaliation to this incident, Israeli aircraft targeted the air defense facility responsible for launching the anti-aircraft missile. The military revealed that additional targets were also hit but did not provide further details.
