Hill’s memorable touchdown catch was a moment of celebration as he handed the ball to his newlywed wife in the stands. His touchdown, the 10th of the season, put him in the company of Dolphins’ history, joining Mike Wallace from 2014 as the only player to achieve double-digit TD receptions in a season for the team.

The Jets’ defense showed some spark, with Brandin Echols intercepting Tagovailoa and returning it for a 30-yard touchdown. However, their attempts to mount a comeback fell short.

The game’s most spectacular moment came from Jevon Holland, who intercepted a Hail Mary pass attempt by Boyle in the closing seconds of the first half. Holland raced down the field for an astonishing 99-yard interception return, leaving the Dolphins jubilant and the Jets in disbelief.

As the game progressed, emotions flared, leading to altercations between players, including personal fouls and ejections. Nonetheless, the Dolphins maintained control, and Mostert added another touchdown to seal their victory.

Statistically, Hill was a standout with nine catches for 102 yards and the pivotal touchdown, while Jaylen Waddle contributed with eight receptions for 114 yards. Hill’s performance set a new record, surpassing Julio Jones’ mark for the most receiving yards in the first 11 games of a season since the AFL-NFL merger in 1970.

In the injury department, the Dolphins had their share of setbacks, with Holland and Jaelan Phillips suffering injuries, and Terron Armstead leaving the game with a quadriceps injury.

Looking ahead, the Dolphins are scheduled to face Washington on December 3, while the Jets will host Atlanta on the same date.
