Rudy Giuliani, the former Mayor of New York City, has categorically denied the claims made by a woman that he coerced her into a sexual relationship and owes her nearly $2 million in unpaid wages. Giuliani dismissed the lawsuit as a fabrication filled with exaggerated and salacious details designed to create a media frenzy.

According to Giuliani’s court papers, he admitted to having a consensual relationship with Noelle Dunphy for a few months in 2019, during his tenure as former President Donald Trump’s personal lawyer. However, he vehemently denied that Dunphy ever worked for him or that he exerted any pressure on her for sexual favors.

Giuliani argued that Dunphy’s lawsuit, filed last month in a New York state court, contains a multitude of contradictory allegations. He asserted that her primary objective is to defame him rather than seek justice.

Seeking to have the lawsuit dismissed, Giuliani requested that the court remove what he deemed as frivolous, inflammatory, and unnecessary accusations from the case. Additionally, he called for Dunphy to face legal consequences for her inappropriate behavior.

In response, Dunphy’s lawyer, Justin Kelton, stated on Tuesday that it is Giuliani who is misrepresenting facts in his court papers in a transparent attempt to avoid addressing Dunphy’s allegations under oath. Kelton emphasized that the allegations raised by Giuliani directly relate to Dunphy’s claims of working for him, enduring a hostile work environment, and facing repeated unwanted sexual advances. He vowed to vigorously oppose Giuliani’s endeavor to erase his alleged misconduct and hold him accountable for his false statements.

Ted Goodman, Giuliani’s political and communications adviser, encouraged everyone to read the motion in its entirety, suggesting that the motion itself speaks volumes.

According to Dunphy’s lawsuit, she asserts that she worked off the books as Giuliani’s business development director and public relations consultant from 2019 to 2021. She is seeking a minimum of $10 million in damages.

Dunphy claims that Giuliani had promised her an annual payment of $1 million for her consulting work but explained that he needed to defer payment until he finalized his divorce from his third wife, Judith.

While Giuliani did settle his divorce in December 2019, Dunphy alleges that she only received a few cash payments totaling $12,000 to cover living expenses, and he still owes her $1,988,000.

Among the allegations Giuliani wants to strike from the lawsuit are Dunphy’s claims that he was a womanizer who engaged in excessive drinking and relied on Viagra, making satisfying his sexual demands a prerequisite for her employment.

Giuliani also objected to Dunphy’s comparison of his behavior to a scene from the 2020 film “Borat: Subsequent Moviefilm,” where he is shown lying on a bed, adjusting his shirt with his hand inside his pants while a young woman acting as a television journalist is present.

Dunphy’s lawsuit further contends that she made numerous audio recordings of Giuliani, capturing instances where he made sexual comments, demanded sex, and made sexist, racist, and antisemitic remarks. Her legal team declined to share these recordings, stating that they are part of the ongoing litigation.

In her lawsuit, Dunphy also accused Giuliani of reneging on a promise to represent her for free in a protracted legal battle involving allegations of domestic violence.

In that particular case, Dunphy had accused a former romantic partner of raping her and throwing her down a flight of stairs. The accused individual filed a counter lawsuit, claiming that he was the victim of physical assault and harassment, and sued Dunphy for defamation, alleging extortion.

Giuliani, in his response to Dunphy’s lawsuit, referred to her prior legal dispute as evidence that she has a history of accusing former romantic partners of wrongdoing in civil litigation.

It is worth noting that The Big Big News, as a policy, does not disclose the identities of individuals who claim to be victims of sexual abuse unless they grant permission, as Dunphy has done.
