This visit is his first campaign trip since Joe Biden became President and announced his own re-election effort. It could be the start of a competition between Donald Trump and Joe Biden for the Presidential election in 2024! Trump’s event in downtown Manchester is going to be smaller than his usual events. This is the first time he’s been back to an early voting state after being accused of breaking the law with a scheme that was meant to hide details about his private life during his past presidential campaign. Recently, Trump said he was innocent and refused to confess on all 34 charges related to this offence. President Trump will be doing an event at a hotel in which he will show his support for his campaign by giving it endorsements. He will also talk about topics such as the economy and opioids. Two days ago, President Biden began his campaign for re-election. He said that he is opposing former President Trump’s idea of making America great again (MAGA) and also mentioned about some people called “MAGA Extremists” who are trying to get rid of our rights such as voting rights and abortion rights. Donald Trump is in the lead as a candidate for President of the United States. However, some other people are entering this race too – such as Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. This week, Donald Trump’s campaign aired its first television ad attacking DeSantis. The ad shows that DeSantis was helped by Donald Trump and it includes clips from one of DeSantis’ 2018 ads where he repeated popular things Donald Trump said like ‘Let’s Build the Wall’ and ‘You’re Fired!’. Two weeks ago, Trump joined a bunch of other people who are running for President of the United States at a convention in Indianapolis hosted by the National Rifle Association. Last weekend, he talked about his 2024 election campaign position at an online meeting with Christians in Iowa. However, even though the elections have already started, Trump is still facing legal problems. This week in Manhattan, there was a trial about Donald Trump because he is being accused of raping someone. The accuser, who used to write for magazines, said that in 1996, Trump forced her to have sex with him at a fancy store. Trump denies this and hasn’t gone to court yet, but his lawyers say that he may appear as a witness. On Monday, someone in Atlanta was looking into whether President Trump and his friends broke the law when it comes to the 2020 presidential election in Georgia. They want decisions on criminal charges before summer is over. Police officers were also asked to be prepared if people are mad about it. The U.S. Department of Justice is looking into some documents they found at Trump’s Florida house, and also his attempts to stop the outcome of the 2020 election. Trump denies all these charges claiming that it has been done for political reasons. New Hampshire is known for swinging politically. However, in both 2016 and 2020, the people of New Hampshire chose not to pick Donald Trump as their president. But he did win the Republican primary contest back in 2016 which caused him to become a powerful leader in the GOP that he still has today. Earlier this year, Donald Trump also made another visit to New Hampshire, this time going all the way to Salem. This stop was part of his White House campaign.
