CNN’s news show “Inside Politics” has just changed its host. The old host, John King, is now going to be doing a different job; he will be reporting about people in important states for the network. His place as the host of “Inside Politics” has been taken by CNN political correspondent Dana Bash.

King said that he’s been on the job for 10 presidential cycles and now he wants to return to reporting across the country. Bash, who has been with CNN for 30 years, will replace her former husband on “Inside Politics” as well as stay co-anchor with Jake Tapper for the weekend program called “State of the Union”.

John made a great show that lots of people who are interested in politics like, and I’m excited to help it be even better.
